Introduction

Schwannomas (neurilemmomas) are benign tumors originating from Schwann cells of the peripheral nerve sheath. These tumors typically present as solitary masses that can be located in soft tissues throughout the body. Schwannomas are predominantly asymptomatic and can manifest irrespective of age or gender. The occurrence of schwannoma in eyelid is extremely rare. If found in numerous locations throughout the body, it may be associated with neurofibromatosis (NF) or classified as schwannomatosis. This study adhered to the tenets of the Declaration of Helsinki.
